A high-protein crop with growing demand
Soya beans are one of the richest plant sources of protein and oil, with growing demand for food, cooking oil and animal feed. Ubuntu supports soya bean production with good seed, a well-prepared seedbed and timely planting with the rains. We focus on early weed control, crop monitoring and harvesting at the right moment to limit pod shattering. Grown in rotation with maize and sorghum, soya beans also improve soil fertility for the crops that follow.
